Flemoxin Solutab

Flemoxin soluteab is a medicinal preparation, a broad-spectrum antibiotic.

Active component of the drug is amoxicillin, it has antibacterial action. Used for various inflammatory and infectious processes of the upper and lower respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract, urogenital system, soft tissues.

The duration of antibiotic therapy for mild and moderate infections is about 5-7 days, and in cases of infections provoked by Streptococcus pyogenes - 10 days. The disappearance of clinical manifestations of the disease is by no means a signal for immediate withdrawal of the drug: it should be taken 2 more days. If the use of flemoxin is accompanied by severe diarrhea, it can be assumed that there is pseudomembranous colitis. In such cases, the drug is subject to cancellation.

Pharmacological effect

Amoxicillin is a semisynthetic β-lactam antibiotic of the penicillin group with a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity.

Bactericidal properties of the drug are due to the ability to suppress transpeptidase, disrupt the production of peptidoglycan (the supporting protein of the cell walls) during the periods of division and growth, to provoke the lysis of microorganisms.

It is active against Gram (+) aerobes, including Staphylococcus spp. (except for penicillinase-producing strains) and Streptococcus spp. (including Str.pneumoniae and faecalis); Gram (-) aerobes (gonococci, meningococci, intestinal and hemophilic sticks, proteus mirabilis; individual strains of Klebsiella, Shigella and Salmonella, and also in relation to H. pylori.

It is ineffective against P.rettgeri and vulgaris proteolytic strains (indolpositive), serratus, pseudomonas, enterobacteria, morganella morgani. Resistant to the effects of amoxicillin mycoplasma, rickettsia and viruses.

A feature of the dosage form is that the tablets are readily dispersible in water to form a dispersion. Thanks to this, the drug is absorbed quickly and completely (more than 93% of the dose taken) from the digestive canal. Eating does not affect the absorption of the substance. TCmax - within the range of 60 to 120 minutes. With the use of dispersible tablets, the plasma concentration of amoxicillin is higher than when insoluble forms of the drug are administered. The active substance is resistant to acids.

Overdose

Flemoxin soluteab is administered at a certain dosage, however in the case of its overdose, a rinse stomach, give activated charcoal, salt laxatives, restore the water-electrolyte balance. Such events are held only in a hospital under the strict supervision of medical personnel.

special instructions

Use with caution in patients prone to allergic reactions.

Against the background of combined therapy with metronidazole, it is not recommended to drink alcohol.

Amoxicillin in combination with metronidazole is not recommended for use in patients younger than 18 years of age; should not be used for liver disease.

Compatibility with other drugs

When using the drug, it is necessary to take into account the interaction with other drugs:

  1. Amoxicillin can reduce the effectiveness of oral contraceptives.
  2. Amoxicillin reduces the effect of drugs, in the process of metabolism which forms PABC.
  3. Antacids, glucosamine, laxatives, aminoglycosides slow down and decrease, and ascorbic acid increases the absorption of amoxicillin.
  4. Amoxicillin strengthens the effect of indirect anticoagulants suppressing the intestinal microflora, reduces the synthesis of vitamin K and prothrombin index.
  5. With the combined use of amoxicillin and clavulanic acid, the pharmacokinetics of both components do not change.
  6. Probenecid, diuretics, allopurinol, phenylbutazone, NSAIDs reduce the tubular secretion of amoxicillin, which can be accompanied by an increase in its concentration in the blood plasma.
  7. With the simultaneous use of amoxicillin with bactericidal antibiotics (including aminoglycosides, cephalosporins, cycloserine, vancomycin, rifampicin) is manifested synergism; with bacteriostatic antibiotics (including macrolides, chloramphenicol, lincosamides, tetracyclines, sulfonamides) - antagonism.

Reviews

We offer you to read reviews of people who used Flemoxin Solutab:

  1. Natalia. This antibiotic is very weak only for cramming and snot... In pneumonia, an experienced doctor will not when not appoint it. Only in injections or strong in tablet form but not always. One antibiotic drink can not always be used and, as a result, a waste of money and a result of zero. Antibiotics should be alternated in 3-5 months (so as not to repeat). Amoxicillin is included in the composition of flemoxin. before you buy a flemoxin buy one plate of amoxicillin it costs a penny put under the tongue if there is a burning sensation of sour taste means you it does not fit.
  2. Margarita. I remember how that girlfriend told me that her friend spent her whole life squandering around the hospitals. And it all started with how her daughter discovered staphylococcus aureus. The baby was still very small and she was prescribed flemoxin solute. They were treated for about a week and how good that the drug helped. The baby was healthy. And though there were no side effects, but then for a long time they went to hospitals (and still).
  3. Valeria. To me appointed or nominated Flemoksin soljutab at a strong angina. My throat was very sore, I was asleep, my voice was gone. The doctor prescribed rinses and this antibiotic. I liked the action of the medicine - the symptoms of the disease passed quickly enough. On the second day began to feel much better. The drug was well tolerated, no side effects were observed. I was satisfied with the action of the medicine. The product dissolves very quickly in the mouth. Passed the temperature, pain, perspiration in the throat. I took pills for five days, three times a day.

Flemoxin or Amiksitsillin - which is better?

Flemoxin soluteba is a generic Amoxicillin. What is the difference between Flemoxin and the original? Amoxicillin is a semisynthetic antibiotic with a strong anti-inflammatory and bactericidal effect. It affects the cell membrane of a pathogenic microorganism and destroys it. Thus, the life of the bacterium stops. Amoxicillin is used in the treatment of respiratory diseases, urological and gynecological infections.

Flemoxin is an acid-fast antibiotic from the group of semisynthetic penicillins. It includes amoxicillin. Flemoxin also breaks the walls of the bacterial cell, stops its division and growth. The drug generic is highly active against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms. However, the drug is not very active in staphylococci and helicobacteria.

The main difference between Amiksitsillina and Flemoxin is their dosage form. Since the generic is released in the form of oral tablets that dissolve in the mouth, this drug does not have any negative effect on the shell of the stomach and intestines. Also, the new generation preparation Flemoxin soluteab is absorbed very quickly and completely absorbed. Within an hour, the total concentration of the active drug substance in the blood plasma can be observed.

Amiksitsillin, on the contrary, is released in conventional tablets and partially loses its bactericidal properties at the resolution in the gastrointestinal tract. That's why his generic drug has great bioavailability. It should be noted that Flemoxin Solutab costs a little more than the original.

What is better - Flemoxin or Flemoclav?

Flemoclav is a combined antibacterial preparation manufactured by Astellas Pharma in the form of dispersible tablets.

The basis of the pill is amoxicillin, but - and this is the difference between it and Flemoxin - to enhance its action in the composition The drug also includes clavulanate (or clavulanic acid), a substance that inhibits the bacterial enzymes of beta-lactamase. That is, Flemoclav is active against microorganisms sensitive to amoxicillin, and also in the strains of bacteria that produce some chromosomal and most plasmid β-lactamases.

Clavulanate inhibits beta-lactamase II, III, IV and V type, but is inactive with respect to those produced by enterobacteria, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, acinetobacteria, and sera (beta-lactamase type I).

Having high tropicity to the antibiotics of the penicillin group, clavulanate significantly expands the activity spectrum and, consequently, the use of amoxicillin.

Shelf life and storage conditions

Keep the drug in a cool dry place, out of the reach of children. The shelf life of the drug is indicated on the packaging and is 3 years from the date of manufacture.
