The active substance gimecromone is absorbed from the digestive tract, getting into the blood, weakly connecting with plasma proteins. The maximum concentration is achieved 2-3 hours after the drug is used. The remainder of the active substance of the drug is excreted from the body mainly through the kidneys (about 93% in the form of glucuronate, 1.4% - sulfonate, 0.3% - unchanged).
