Drug Interactions

  4. With the simultaneous administration of norfloxacin reduces the clearance of theophylline by 25%, so with simultaneous use should reduce the dose of theophylline.
  5. With the simultaneous administration of norfloxacin and antacid agents or preparations containing iron, zinc, magnesium, calcium or sucralfate, decreases absorption of norfloxacin due to the formation of complexons with metal ions (the interval between their reception should be at least 4 hours).
  6. Simultaneous administration of norfloxacin with drugs that have the potential to reduce blood pressure can cause a sharp decrease in blood pressure. In this regard, in such cases, as well as with the simultaneous introduction of barbiturates, anesthetics, it is necessary to monitor heart rate, blood pressure, ECG parameters. Simultaneous use with drugs that reduce the epileptic threshold may lead to the development of epileptiform seizures.

Reviews

We picked up some reviews of people who used the drug Norbaktin:

  1. Margo. A couple of weeks ago, treated with acute pills cystitis. Pain with urination quickly passed, but there were problems with the stool (liquid feces). Constantly ran to the toilet, although she took the medicine on an empty stomach. When it was no longer tolerated (on the 5th day of treatment), I had to replace the drug and buy a safer Normox in the pharmacy.
  2. Andrei. This drug was prescribed to me by my personal nephrologist who treated me and told me to drink twice a day after eating for seven days, on an empty stomach not to drink - you can put the stomach in an antibiotic. I began to observe at myself after reception mild headaches, the heart began to hurt or be ill; be sick, urine has accepted a light kind and has started to foam. At night I could not sleep for a long time, I began to worry about my lower back. I think that's what the kidneys started to know about themselves. Heavy drug for my body. The doctor said that this is a normal action of the antibiotic. They all practically harm the body and at the same time without them it is simply impossible to begin treatment.
  3. Marina. She took the medicine for pyelonephritis for 10 days. Tablets quickly remove pain, they act gently - without side effects. In addition, the doctor prescribed probiotics, vitamins and preparations to restore immunity. I helped, so with infectious diseases of the urinary tract, I can recommend an appointment.
