The drug exhibits the greatest activity against the bacteria of the Pity-rosporum group, which are one of the pathogenic factors that cause inflammation, hyperproliferation (accelerated cell division) of the epidermis (skin surface layer) in psoriasis, seborrhea (skin disease associated with sebaceous gland function) and other skin diseases.
