Form of issue and composition

The solution is intended for intramuscular or intravenous administration.

The solution contains 600 LE (lipoproteinipase unit) of sulodexide. 1 ml of the drug includes 300EU, respectively.

Also the preparation is offered in the form of capsules of 250 LE of active substance.

The number of capsules in the package is 50 pieces: 5 blisters for 10 capsules or 2 blisters for 25.

Pharmacological effect

Active active substance of the drug Angioflux - sulodexide - a natural product, a natural mixture of glucosaminoglycans, consisting of a high-speed heparin-like fraction (80%) and dermatan sulfate (20%), obtained by enzymatic extraction from the mucosa of the small intestine of pigs.

The mechanism of action of sulodexide is due to the interaction of both fractions:

  • a high-speed heparin-like fraction has an affinity for antithrombin III (ATIII);
  • Dermatan sulfate has an affinity for the cofactor of heparin II (CG II).

Angioflux has antithrombotic, profibrinolytic, angioprotective and anticoagulant effects.

  1. The prophyllinolytic effect of the drug is due to the increase in the blood concentration of the tissue plasminogen activator (TAP) in the lumen of blood vessels and a decrease in the content of the inhibitor of the tissue plasminogen activator (ITAP) in the blood.
  2. The mechanism of angioprotective action is associated with the restoration of the structural and functional integrity of endothelial cells vessels, restoration of the normal density of negative electrical charge of the pores of the basal membrane of the vessels.
  3. The mechanism of antithrombotic action is associated with the suppression of the activated Xa and Pa coagulation factor blood, increased synthesis and secretion of prostacyclin, a decrease in the concentration of fibrinogen in the blood plasma.

The drug normalizes the rheological properties of blood by reducing the concentration of triglycerides, as it stimulates the lipolytic enzyme - lipoprotein lipase, hydrolysing triglycerides. The effectiveness of Angioflux in diabetic nephropathy is determined by its ability to reduce thickness basal membrane and the production of extracellular matrix by reducing the proliferation of mesangium cells.
