Pharmacological effect

Myotropic antispasmodic with pronounced vasodilating effect. The vasodilator effect of benzyclane is mainly due to its ability to block calcium channels, antiserotonin action, and to a lesser extent - with blockade of sympathetic ganglia. Benzyclane can cause a dose-dependent suppression of Na + / K + -dependent ATPase and platelet and erythrocyte aggregation, as well as increased erythrocyte elasticity. These effects are observed mainly in peripheral vessels, coronary arteries and cerebral vessels.

In addition, benzyclan has an antispasmodic effect on the visceral musculature (GI tract, urinary tract, respiratory system). The drug causes a slight increase in heart rate. It is also known for its weak tranquilizing effect.

Reviews

We picked up some of the people's opinions about the preparation of Halidor:

  1. Olga. Mom 89 years old, legs hurt. The surgeon has registered a halidor. The first day everything was fine. And by the evening of the second day, my hands began to shake, my head ached, and my head began to feel dizzy, I began to feel sick, my legs were wadded, and practically stopped walking. We called an ambulance - the doctor said that we need to replace the drug. The surgeon was wildly surprised at such consequences. He said that maybe these are signs of a disorder of the cerebral circulation. And this can lead to a stroke. Plus in the annotation we read that the drug is not recommended for traumatic brain injury.
  2. Margarita. Always boldly started taking medicine, tk. usually well tolerated. But not at this time! Took days 8 and already the third day as canceled. The condition after cancellation has not improved, periodically nausea, rolls on walking, the noise in the ears becomes much more intense, it really hinders. Now I realized that I had not been sick before. An anesthetic pill every 7-10 days already suits me in comparison with my current state. By the way, the next attack of a headache I missed)).
  3. Inna. I learned about Halidore for a long time, but my experience is connected with its intolerance (maybe because it extends the vessels too well). I was prescribed it to improve cerebral circulation and dilute blood. There were side effects (headache, frequent palpitations, dizziness). Although many helped well and they easily tolerated it. In general, I gave my Galidor to my grandmother (her cerebral circulation is disturbed).

The doctors' comments about Halidor agree that the drug is strong enough and it is very important not to forget when applying it about caution, especially the elderly and people prone to allergies. Reviews on the forums also confirm a high probability of side effects in people prone to it.
