Pharmacological effect
Betaserk influences mainly histamine H1 and H3 receptors in the inner ear, as well as the vestibular nuclei of the nervous system. Direct agonistic effects on the receptors lead to a significant improvement in microcirculation and permeability of capillaries. The active substance helps to normalize the pressure of the endolymph. It leads to an increase in blood flow in the basilar arteries.
The drug is characterized by a pronounced central effect as a result of action on the H3 receptors of the nuclei of the vestibular nerve. Conductivity in neurons located in the vestibular nuclei is normal. All these properties are manifested in such clinical indicators as lowering the intensity and frequency of dizziness, lowering of noise in the ears, increasing hearing loss.

Reviews
We picked up some feedback from people about the Betaserc product:
- Victor, the doctor. The drug has found a good use, as with vestibular disorders, and with vertebrobasilar insufficiency, a decrease in symptoms in the postinsult period! The course and therapeutic dose are selected individually!
- Diana. I drank a course from dizziness, it became easier and cervical osteochondrosis stopped worrying, maybe it's temporary, but that's good.
- Anton. I turned to the doctor with periodic pain in the neck, headache, dizziness. X-ray showed cervical osteochondrosis. I was prescribed a massage and Betaserc against the symptoms. I do not know exactly what helped, but after a couple of days it became better. There were no side effects, you can drive at the wheel, only you need to drink it for a long time - I was discharged for 2 months.
- Svetlana. I often have dizziness, low blood pressure, after purulent otitis almost lost my hearing, the auditory nerve gradually atrophied, and recognized vegetative-vascular dystonia, tried Betaserc, at first helped me a lot, and I'm more afraid of drinking it, some rash started, I'll go to the doctor, allergy is obvious.
- Sergei. Betaserc helped me cope with the terrible state. I was always sick and dizzy. The result was noticeable not immediately, somewhere in a week it became better. I take pills every day, already a month 3. I came up with a minimum dose of 8 mg. The neurologist wrote out, at first there was a side effect - gravity in a stomach, but in due course has passed or has taken place.
The doctors' comments about Betaserc can be called satisfactory. The greatest number of reports of ineffectiveness is found in the treatment of vertigo on the background of vegeto-vascular dystonia and tinnitus. Side effects described drug for dizziness almost does not cause.
