Dicycin is a hemostatic drug, a remedy for preventing and stopping bleeding.

The mechanism of action is due to the effect on the first stage of the hemostasis process (interaction between the endothelium and platelets). Suppresses the decomposition of mucopolysaccharides of the vascular wall (anti-hyaluronidase activity), and normalizes permeability in pathological processes. The medication acts haemostatically due to an increase in the rate of primary clot formation.
