Sidnofarm is a medicinal preparation of antiaggregant, antihypertensive, vasodilating, antianginal and analgesic action.

The drug increases the clearance of peripheral vessels of the venous bed, has antiaggregant, analgesic and antianginal (anti-ischemic) effect.

The action of the sydnopharm begins to develop after 15-20 minutes from the moment of admission and lasts from 1 to 6 hours (usually about 4). The dose and duration of the pharmacotherapeutic course are set individually by the doctor.

Composition and form of release

Dosage form: tablets: round, convex on both sides, light pink in color, with a risk, with a mint smell (10 pcs. in a blister, 3 blisters in a pack of cardboard).

pharmachologic effect

Sidnofarm has antianginal, antiplatelet and analgesic effects. The drug improves the collateral circulation, eliminates spasm of the coronary arteries, reduces the need for myocardium in oxygen, and also increases the tolerance of the load and reduces the number of attacks of angina during physical exertion.

Sidnofarm begins to operate approximately 20 minutes after admission. The maximum therapeutic effect is achieved in 30-60 minutes and lasts up to six hours. Unlike nitrates, with prolonged therapy with the drug does not cause tolerance, leading to a decrease in the effectiveness of treatment.

Pharmacokinetics

Absorbed actively, almost completely absorbed in the stomach and intestines. C max molsidomine (maximum amount in the blood) is detected after 1 - 1.5 hours. 90% is excreted in the urine, 9% - with feces, half-life within 1 - 3.5 hours. With severe liver pathology, the slow elimination of molsidomine and an increase in its number in the blood plasma are noted.

Indications for use

Sidnofarm is used as a preventive agent, the reception of which prevents attacks of angina and reduces their number.

In patients with heart failure in chronic form, the drug reduces preload, resulting in a reduction in the size of the heart chambers.

Contraindications

Absolute:

toxic pulmonary edema;
deficiency of lactase, lactose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption;
combined use with inhibitors of phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE 5) (sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil);
During pregnancy and breastfeeding;
severe arterial hypotension (systolic blood pressure below 100 mm Hg. item);

Side effect
