Tetracycline ophthalmic ointment is a homogeneous thick mass of light yellow tinge. It has a weak specific odor. The main active ingredient is the antibiotic tetracycline. Ointment is available in two dosages - 1% or 3%. Additional constituents for 1% ointment are:
