Pharmacological effect

Dancil belongs to the group of antimicrobial antibiotics of fluoroquinolones. The mechanism of its action is associated with an effect on the enzyme called DNA-gyrase, which normally ensures the stability of the DNA of the pathogen by means of supercoiling. As a result of destabilization of the genetic material of bacteria, their death occurs, that is, the medicine has a bactericidal effect.

Ofloxacin is not sensitive to the action of certain enzymes released by bacteria. These include beta-lactamases, adenylases, acetyltransferases, phosphorylases. Ofloxacin is a synthetic preparation that is a fluorinated quinolone. It has a wide spectrum of action and is effective against gram-negative microorganisms. On Gram-positive bacteria it acts to a lesser extent.

Ofloxacin is active against most of the strains listed below: Chlamydia trachomatis; Haemophilus influenzae; Enterobacter cloacae; Proteus mirabilis; Staphylococcus aureus; Pseudomonas aeruginosa; Streptococcus pneumoniae.

Reviews

We picked up some feedback from people about the drug Danzil:

  1. Anna. I use the ear drops of Danzil for the first time. The main advantage of the drug remains a rapid therapeutic effect and an acceptable cost. As soon as autumn or spring comes, I immediately suffer from a cold. My pharyngitis is exacerbated by otitis. The doctor prescribed drops of Danzil to me. What surprised me about him was his versatility, because it can be used both to treat diseases of the ears and eyes. Painful sensations in the ears can not be called pleasant. But as soon as I began to drip the drops, the pain subsided the next day.
  2. Diana. Assigned for sinusitis and tubootitis. There were pains in the ear and such stuffiness of his, that did not hear anything. Already after the first time of application the nausea disappeared and hearing was restored.
  3. Marina. The drug in question in our large family is in great demand. For example, my uncle uses them in the treatment of conjunctivitis. He works all the time in a draft, so he often has problems with gases. But it is worth it to drip Danzil, as the condition is improving, and unpleasant symptoms go away. The drug helped me when I radiated otitis externa. I applied drops on a standard schedule during the day, but at night I put a cotton swab in my ear, treated in solution. In the first days of the illness, I had a terrible pain, but after using the drops, I could forget about it. And the process of recovery began to go much faster. I am very pleased with the effect of the medicine, so I decided to buy it and put it in our medicine chest.
