Pharmacological effect

Milgamma is a complex preparation based on B vitamins. Neurotropic B vitamins have a beneficial effect on inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the nerves and motor apparatus. Promotes increased blood flow and improves the functioning of the nervous system.

  1. Vitamin B1 in the form of thiamine diphosphate and thiamine triphosphate plays a key role in the metabolism of carbohydrates, being a coenzyme of pyruvate decarboxylase, 2-oxoglutarate dehydrogenase and transketolase. In the pentose phosphate cycle, thiamin diphosphate is involved in the transfer of aldehyde groups.
  2. Vitamin B6 in its phosphorylated form (pyridoxal-5-phosphate) is a coenzyme of numerous enzymes, taking part primarily in the metabolism of amino acids, as well as carbohydrates and fats.
  3. Vitamin B12 is essential for cellular metabolism, hematopoiesis and the functioning of the nervous system. It stimulates nucleic acid metabolism through the activation of folic acid. In large doses, cyanocobalamin has analgesic, anti-inflammatory and microcirculatory effects.

The substance Lidocaine, which is a part of Milgramam, also has an anesthetic effect.

Drug Interactions

When using the drug, it is necessary to take into account the interaction with other drugs:

  1. Copper accelerates the destruction of thiamine.
  2. Thiamine loses its effectiveness with increasing pH (more than 3).
  3. Thiamin is completely destroyed in solutions containing sulfites. And as a consequence, thiamine decay products inactivate the actions of other vitamins.
  4. Thiamin is incompatible with oxidizing and reducing compounds, incl. iodides, carbonates, acetates, tannic acid, iron ammonium citrate, phenobarbital, riboflavin, benzylpenicillin, dextrose, disulfites.
  5. When parenteral application of lidocaine in the case of additional use of norepinephrine and epinephrine may increase the side effect on the heart. Interactions with sulfonamides are also observed.
  6. Therapeutic doses of pyridoxine weaken the effect of levodopa (the antiparkinsonian action of levodopa is reduced) with simultaneous admission. There is also interaction with cycloserine, penicillamine, isoniazid.
  7. Cyanocobalamin is incompatible with salts of heavy metals. Riboflavin also has a destructive effect, especially when exposed to light; nicotinamide accelerates photolysis, while antioxidants have an inhibitory effect.

Reviews

We picked up some feedback from people who used Milgamma:

  1. Sergei. The wife from the youth suffers pains in a back, result of employment of judo. After the birth of the first child it became quite unbearable, almost climbing the wall from pain. Has passed or has taken place inspection, has made MRT a lumbar department of a backbone. The diagnosis is protrusion of the discs and pinching of the sciatic nerve. The attending physician prescribed intramuscular injections with Milgamma. It was a rescue! After the course of injections, my wife almost forgot about the pain in her back. Now, with rare attacks, he definitely uses Milgamma. The second pregnancy and childbirth passed perfectly, without complications. The only downside: injections are very painful.
  2. Paul. After the trauma I need regular support of the body with vitamins of group B. Previously, chop them separately, walked like a sieve))) Finally there was a modern drug Milgamma compositum in tablets, which includes everything you need, very convenient.
  3. Arseny. The composition of the drug - a complex of vitamins B, which have a positive effect in diseases associated with neurological disorders. As a medical worker, I want to say that the medicine acts on the general restorative body, significantly reduces pain syndromes. My relatives use injections with radiculitis, dorsal neuralgia. Sam tried the drug when I developed neuralgia of the trigeminal nerve.
  4. Stephanie. I was prescribed 10 injections, and I only pierced 5. I was terribly surrounded, the whole body, faces, neck, hands. Just awful!!! Soon the New Year, and I even show shame. I work as a teacher, I'm so ashamed. I should have had side effects before
