Fromomil and Fromiloid Uno are antibiotics of the macrolide class with the active substance clarithromycin.

It is available in the form of tablets with 250 mg of active ingredient, and Unil Formyl is a prolonged-release tablet with 500 mg clarithromycin, which release it gradually, during the passage of the tablet through the gastrointestinal tract.

Fromilide is active against intracellular bacteria (legionella, mycoplasmas), mycobacteria, except tuberculosis, gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms and some anaerobic bacteria. The drug is prescribed for infectious and inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract, skin and soft tissues, with chlamydia, in combination with other drugs for Helicobacter pylori infection.

Composition and form of release

The preparation of Formyloid Uno is available in the form of tablets for oral administration. The tablets are yellow, oval, convex on both sides, covered with a protective film shell, long-lasting. Pharmacological effect

Fromilide is a medicine, an antibacterial agent that belongs to a macrolide group. It has a bacteriostatic effect on various microorganisms by inhibiting protein production in microbial cells. Some agents have a bactericidal effect.

Indications for use

Contraindications

the period of breastfeeding;
congenital lactose intolerance, lactase insufficiency;
individual intolerance to the components of the drug;
the patient's age is up to 12 years (this is due to the fact that the experience of using the drug in pediatric practice is absent, and the safety of the antibiotic is not established);
pregnancy in 1 trimester;
severe diseases of the kidneys and liver, accompanied by a violation of the function of the body;
chronic renal failure.

Relative contraindications to the use of the drug are:

pregnancy 2 and 3 trimesters;
myasthenia gravis;
diabetes;
simultaneous therapy with drugs, the metabolism of which occurs in the liver.

Intended use for pregnancy and lactation

The use of the drug in the first trimester of pregnancy is contraindicated. Use of the drug, Formyloid uno in the II and III trimesters of pregnancy, is only possible if the intended benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus.

Dosage and route of administration

Overdose
